UKids – Wrap Around Care

At Wheatfield Primary School, our breakfast and after school club is provided by UKids. The team at Ukids offer a variety of healthy snack choices, alongside a variety of child initiated and adult planned activities for the children to enjoy before and after a busy day at school.

Breakfast Club - 7.30am-8.40am

• UKids provide a variety of healthy breakfast choices, alongside quiet activities such as; reading, puzzles, board games, Lego, drawing and colouring and music to ensure children start the day feeling relaxed, alert and ready to start the day!
• Children get dropped off by parents any time from the start of the session at 7.30am.
• At the end of the session Key Stage 2 children are released to make their own way to their classes, while Key Stage 1, Reception and Nursery children are escorted to their class teacher.

After School Club - 3.25pm-6pm

• Ukids offer a wide range of free play activities such as crafts, construction, board games, small world play such as cars, trains and dolls, yoga, team games and sports, alongside some quieter activities such as card games, puzzles and stories to choose from to support children who prefer time to wind down and relax after school.

• Ukids provide a selection of healthy snack choices in line with healthy eating guidelines including a carbohydrate, toppings, fresh fruit and vegetables and a refreshing drink

• Parents call our site phone when arriving at the school to collect from the after school club. We will help your children get their belongings together and bring the child out to you, and provide a handover.
• We can provide for all dietary needs such as dairy or gluten free alternatives. Please note we are a nut aware site.
