GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Year 1 Parent & Carers Phonics Workshop

It was great to welcome our Year 1 parents and carers into school today for a phonics workshop. Mrs Miles and Miss Ross explained how our children in Y1 'grow the code' through the Little Wandle Programme for reading and writing.

We have more workshops coming up this Autumn, including a whole school Zones of Regulation workshop on 5th October, a Reception phonics workshop on 10th October and a Y6 SATs workshop on 6th November.

At Wheatfield, it is important for us to work closely with families, so look forward to welcoming lots of you soon.
