Year 3 Fossil Workshop

The Year 3 children were treated to a special talk and fossil handling workshop by their TA, Mrs Walker, this week.

As part of their English biography unit, the children have been studying  the life and work of David Attenborough. Mrs Walker showed the children fossils and related books about fossils found in Lyme Regis and about Attenborough’s visit to the area. She even gave each pupil a labelled souvenir fossil to take home, sourced during her recent trip to Lyme Regis.

The children were fascinated and want to say a huge thank you to their TA for this exciting opportunity.
